Mountain Seas Resort Complex - Flinders Island, Bass Strait

A proposed multistage timeshare resort development over 20 Ha which required a wastewater treatment system design compatible with the significant distances between resort clusters as well as the environmental ethos of the development. Strata conducted a site reconnaissance, including extensive drilling and permeability testing, and produced flow modelling and finalised designs based upon standalone systems servicing each development cluster. These systems were based upon packaged treatment plants incorporating ozone fractionation with subsurface irrigation of treated effluent.
