Fingal Coal Project – Mine Effluent Treatment

Modelling and detailed design for mine effluent collection and treatment using lagoon based systems. The project scope involves treating effluent to a level compatible with reuse for irrigation on nearby farming land. This will involve the development of an ongoing environmental monitoring program looking at the effect of ongoing effluent application to ground and surface water qualities as well as various soil physico-chemical properties.
